A few questions we get asked by prospective clients.

1. What is your process for designing and building a website?

Step 1: Scoping - 

We sit down with you over coffee (or tea) and discuss your requirements. We find out who your competitors are, what you wish to achieve from your site and ask you to list a couple of websites you like the style of amongst other things.
We can then send you through a quote.

Step 2: Design -
We go away and create a masterpiece for you. We will design you a site tailored to suit your business and fit in with your brand. All our designs are custom made - no templates here!!

Step 3: Implemetation -
Once you have signed off the design, we integrate it into one of the 3 great content management systems we use: Perch™, ExpressionEngine™ or Craft™, depending on what your budget requires.

Step 4: Training -
When we have created the shell for you, we will get together and run you through the admin side of things. As the admin is so easy to use, this normally takes less than an hour. We follow your progress inputting content and let you know if anything needs tweaking.

Step 5: Go live -
Once you have input all your content and we have checked it all works as it should, we make your site live. (insert celebration here)
We submit your site to Google and Bing and do all the necessary 'behind the scenes' things to help your site track up the search engine rankings.

2. Do you provide training for managing the new website?

Yes, we do provide you with training. We normally spend an hour with you entering in new data and uploading images to your site. That's generally all the time it takes.
We are available by telephone for any questions you may have.

3. Will I be able to make updates to the website myself without any special technical knowledge?

Most definitely. The admin is very easy to use, giving you more time to develop your site instead of reading the user manual!

4. What is your approach to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)?

Our sites are coded to W3C Standards and are set up to be optimised for Organic Searching.
We will grow your site ranking organically to start with and once we have some statistics back from Google Analytics, we can make an informed decision as to whether we need to look at an Adwords Campaign.

5. What technologies do you use to build websites?

We use Perch™, ExpressionEngine™ and Craft™ to build our websites. All three are PHP based systems that we feel are very flexible and easy to use.

6. What Browsers do you support?

If you want a modern website utilising the new technologies available, you need to make sure you are using one of the modern browsers. The internet is constantly changing and moving forwards and we believe that you should be too.

We do not support Internet Explorer 6 or 7.

7. What size businesses do you make websites for?

We will build a website for any size business, big or small.
